It was a delight and honor to be invited by Ambassador Sergio Gore to celebrate America’s Freedom 250 gathering hosted by the U.S. Embassy in New Delhi.

The evening became even more memorable with the presence of Hon. Secretary of State Marco Rubio and an incredible musical performance by A.R. Rahman that beautifully reflected the spirit of friendship, culture, and partnership.
An unexpected highlight of the evening was witnessing President Donald Trump joining through a phone call, adding another historic dimension to the celebration.
Beyond the celebrations, the gathering was an important reminder of how relationships, trust, and consistent engagement can create meaningful impact. It was encouraging to reconnect with numerous U.S. diplomats and share the journey of AmCham Nepal — a journey built on collaboration, policy dialogue, business confidence, and the commitment to strengthen U.S.–Nepal commercial ties.
The invitation itself reflects the growing recognition of AmCham Nepal’s efforts in supporting and expanding American business engagement in Nepal. What started as an aspiration has gradually evolved into a credible platform connecting governments, businesses, investors, and institutions between our two countries.
Witnessing the strong commitment toward the U.S.–India partnership also offered valuable lessons for Nepal. Strategic collaboration, long-term vision, and private sector engagement can transform economic relationships and create opportunities for generations to come.
As AmCham Nepal, we remain optimistic and committed to contributing positively toward deeper U.S.–Nepal economic cooperation through trade, technology, investment, innovation, and entrepreneurship.
A sincere thank you to the President of FNCCI for joining the celebration alongside AmCham Nepal. We look forward to continuing to strengthen partnerships that create meaningful opportunities and positive impact for both Nepal and the United States.
