Executive Roundtable on Advancing U.S.-Nepal

Our Senior Vice President from the U.S. Chambers of Commerce South Asia Ambassador Atul Keshap delivered an inspiring speech, highlighting the unwavering support of the American business community for Nepalese investment through AmCham Nepal during an inaugural session of an  investment summit of 2024.

Key sectors like ICT, Energy, Tourism, Agriculture, Infrastructure, and Financial Services were spotlighted, emphasizing the potential for economic growth through bilateral commercial exchange.

Exciting sideline discussions, including a roundtable with Fortune 500 companies, USG officials, and USAID staffs, underscored the commitment to enhancing U.S.-Nepal commercial relations. AmCham members got mingled together to solidify the partnership in order to innovate opportunities and resolve challenges together.

They highlighted a level playing field, regulatory predictability and mechanism for stakeholder’s inputs focusing on ease of doing business which will further encourage them to bring more investment in the country which will also intensify the inclusive economic growth of Nepal.

To top it off, we celebrated a significant milestone by signing a MoA with U.S. Commercial Services, reinforcing collaboration to advance commercial ties between the United States and Nepal.
