We are honored to share that AmCham Nepal hosted a high-level Business Roundtable Discussion alongside our 3rd Annual General Meeting, focusing on strengthening the commercial ties between the United States and Nepal.
Themed "Advancing U.S.-Nepal Commercial Relations II," the roundtable centered on:
Identifying opportunities and challenges in U.S.-Nepal trade and investment, Discussing key policy reforms to enhance bilateral commercial engagement, Innovating successful public-private partnership models inspired by global best practices, Amplifying the trade and investment potential in the ICT, Tourism, and Energy sectors and Strengthening collaborations to support Nepal’s transition from a Least Developed Country (LDC) and drive inclusive economic growth.
The session was expertly moderated by Sidhanta Mehra, Executive Director, U.S. Chamber of Commerce. Key participants included:

Discussions emphasized the importance of strategic public-private partnerships, creating a unified approach to fostering economic growth and attracting global investors to Nepal. The need for a conducive business environment and insights from the business climate index were highlighted as critical factors for driving trade and investment.
The event successfully sparked meaningful dialogue on advancing U.S.-Nepal commercial relations through actionable initiatives and collaborative efforts.
